  • Beautiful trip!

    Samef, India - September 16, 2015

A friend and I visited Darjeeling at the end of August/beginning of September. We knew it was the rainy season, but that did not stop us from doing a wonderful trek with Subash. We started our trek with a 30+K bike ride, and then a 10K trek into Nepal. The sights were beautiful, even with the rain. Subash was an excellent guide, and corresponded well to our needs. I recommend this trek to anyone who is adventurous and looking for ... continue reading

  • Fantastic Day!

    C W, India - September 13, 2015

Recently did a day hike with Subash up to Tonglu. The hike was exactly what we were looking for in a Darjeeling-area day trek -- great views, varied terrain, unique cultural experience walking through the villages along the India-Nepal border. And Subash was a great and friendly guide. When done with the hike we had a great sense of accomplishment and having had a very unique experience. Thanks Subash! If ever in the area again, will definitely do another trek ... continue reading

Despite the rain and cloud we had a great day's hike with Subash. The area is stunning we can only imagine what it is like when the clouds clear! We learnt a lot from Subash about area and the people of the region. His English is excellent and above all he was a lot of fun, he made us laugh a lot! The food we had for breakfast and lunch on the hike was some of the best we had ... continue reading

Subash offered a perfect mixture of activity and culture. Mountain biking and trekking at a level suited to the group, with amazing views, even though the weather wasn't perfectly clear. Seeing a Buddhist monestry was a highlight too - absolutely breathtaking! I would definitely recommend this, and would come back a second time! :) continue reading

  • Life-time moments on the Singalila Ridge

    Rhyllen, United Kingdom - August 27, 2015

This was a highlight of our 8 months trip around India and Nepal, and that's saying a lot as we had a great deal of amazing experiences!! We do a fair bit of trekking but not often with a guide. As you need a guide to trek the Singalila we wanted to make sure it was with someone who added to the experience rather than just supervise us around the trek. We found Subash's office next to our hotel in ... continue reading

  • Mix of active life and culture

Emma karl, United Kingdom - August 13, 2015

Subash helps you to organize a varied and fun trip so you can enjoy the Himalaya even if you don't have many days for your visit. We did a very simple tour with cycling and hiking, people with no previous experience could easily do the same tour as we did. Besides from the active parts Subash also took us to a museeum, a buddist temple while a ceremony was going on, got us to taste local beer in a cottage in Nepal ... continue reading
