after your breakfast we tranfer to Ghoom Monastery: (Yiga Choeling monastery) It is most popularly known as Ghoom monastery which is oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling built in the year 1850. This monastery is famous for its 15 feet high statue of Maitreya Buddha. It is situated at altitude of 8,000 feet and 8 km away from Darjeeling city.
Dali monastery (Druk sang choeling monastery): It is located at Dali which is 3-4 km away from Darjeeling town. Its real name is Drukpa Kargyad Monastery but is well known as Dali monastery as it in place Dali.
Bhutia Busty monastery: Butia busty monastery is one of the nearest Gumpa in Darjeeling located at Observatory hill in Darjeeling town. Takvar Tea garden: In the history of Darjeeling tea Gardens Takvar is recorded as the first Tea estate in the Darjeeling. This tea estate is 9 km away from Darjeeling city Planted in 1852 and it is stretches from an altitude of 1,500 ft to 6,500 ft. The garden covers over 22 Km ending at the little Rungeet river.

We leave after breakfast at 9:00 am Transport to Yuksam. The rigors of this 6-hour drive are, however, offset by the ever-changing scenery along the way. For the first hour, we retrace our route until Singtam, after which we take a right turn and head uphill towards the Temi Tea gardens and then on to Rabongla (a small town below Maenam Hill from where we stop for lunch). Here we get our first close up view of the Himalayas. We provide you standard good family home stay or hotel in yuksoom – Pelling and Darjeeling before and after your trek (7 nights) The stay on all other days will be in tents. Day time temperatures will range from 14-18ºC and night time temperature will range from 3-5ºC in May. You Expect temperatures to be lower by a few degrees in October/November.
In Sikkim Dzongri Goechala in April and May. Mid September to October end is also a good time for the trek – the views during these months are crystal clear. and Dzongri Goechala Trek also called the Rhododendron trek because of its forests of Magnolia and Rhododendrons in are in full bloom.
The trekking included your package permit can be arranged by Company, but minimum of 2 people is required.
Darjeeling to Yuksoom ,is the last place where you’ll get mobile network. Make sure you finish your important telephone calls before reaching Yuksom and Please inform family members about poor connectivity on the trek. Yuksom, if at all, might have charging points, provided there is electricity. we suggest you to have spare batteries as well.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. Before the client commences a tour he or she must arrange his or her insurance with a reputable insurer, with protection for the full duration of the tour, to cover personal injury, medical expenses, emergency helicopter expenses, repatriation expenses, loss of luggage and the expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment or a tour.
