The Sandakphu trek is a demanding high-altitude journey, requiring a significant amount of energy. To support you, we will ensure you have access to nutritious meals throughout the trek areas. That said, food options become more restricted at higher elevations. Our trek package includes regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, providing 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 3 dinners over the course of the trek.
Your meals will primarily consist of local, Nepali, and Western dishes. We recommend you try Dal, Bhat, and Tarkari (vegetables), which are high in carbohydrates and offer ample energy for the trek. Due to hygiene concerns, we advise against consuming meat. It's advisable for you to bring along dry fruits such as raisins, dried figs, and dried apricots, as well as nuts like almonds, cashews, walnuts, and groundnuts.
