Our team has hand-picked four amazing trekking packages that let you explore the beautiful Himalayas and authentic mountain lifestyle.

We have designed and tested these packages to let you have the best trekking experience. Accompanied by native mountain guides and porters, you'll have a safe trip at a reasonable price. We are taking bookings for both group departure & private winter treks in the Himalayas 2023/2024.

As you may know, winter is considered an off-season for traveling in the Himalayas. But we believe if you are well prepared, have strong support, and choose the right time, there couldn't be a better time than winter to trek in the Himalayas.

The winter Himalayan landscapes are just out of this world. You'll find yourself in the winter wonderland covered with a white blanket of snow and the warm hospitality of the locals. The trail is empty, which means you'll have the entire nature treat to yourself.

Keeping the potential hurdles and risks in mind, we have crafted these four packages to let you have the best journey of your life with your loved ones or solo (if you prefer traveling alone). You can easily book any of these trekking packages with us. Our team will help you with everything, making the process seamless.

Is traveling to a new country something that freaks you out? Go for it! Sometimes the scariest ideas turn into the best travel memories. And we, Ashmita Trek & Tours, will become the sturdy pillar that you can hold on to while traveling in Nepal and India!

An Offbeat Trek Route To Sandakphu

Against the picturesque background of snow-capped mountain peaks, lies the immortal Sandakphu. Hailed as the highest point in West Bengal, Sandakphu in the Singalila Ridge is a paradise for trekkers. For more than a decade, the Sandakphu trek has been on the bucket list of backpackers all over the world. A journey to any place around the world is steeped in adventure but trekking offers a phenomenal perspective of life.

The mesmerizing trek will offer you a peek into four of the five highest peaks in the world namely Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu. If you are a lover of tranquility, natural wonders, and all things rejuvenating, then get prepared to come closer to paradise at Sandakphu.

Sikkim Kanchenjunga Goechala Trek

From the forested hills of Yuksom to the alpine meadows of Tshokha, and finally to the Goechala Pass (4940 meters), where you are confronted with a jaw-dropping view of Kanchenjunga’s (8,586 m) south face. In all directions, sheer rocky mountains surround you. You will gain a true sense of perspective as you stand in awe in front of these monumental peaks.

Trek up through lush semi-tropical forests, crossing crystal-clear streams and rivers along the ascent. Listen to the peaceful flowing waterfall just below Prek Chu. Continue moving through the highlands from Tshoka to Dzongri, taking an exploration/acclimatization day. You’ll be amazed by the rugged terrain surrounding these points. From Dzongri, keep climbing through Pandim’s shadow before ascending even further to Goechala (5002 meters/16,410 feet).

Everest Base Camp Trek

Face the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest (8848 meters), along with several other of the world’s highest peaks. Feel the thrill of high Himalayan trekking as you climb to altitudes that are not suitable for permanent life to exist. The lunar-like landscape will blow you away, particularly from Kala Patthar (5545 meters) – the absolute best view of Everest that exists.

The trail is often listed as one of the top treks in the world not only for the awe-inspiring landscapes but also for the rich culture that lies within and along the trail. The Sherpa people are known for their incredible ability to withstand high altitudes and for their unprecedented hospitality. There are monasteries, prayer flags, mani walls, and chortens scattered along the trail, adding a lot of cultural value to the adventure.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek, also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, is one of the go-to trails in Nepal. It’s accessible, exciting, not too difficult, and offers incredible mountain views. The Annapurna region is home to some of the highest mountains in the world – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share their presence! Enjoy lush forests, charming Gurung, Magar, and other ethnic villages, all while admiring fantastic mountain vistas.

The first few days of the journey are actually the toughest, as you traverse the steep ascents and descents from valley to valley, sometimes along steep stone staircases. However, if you take time to rest and appreciate the scenery along the way, it is not too difficult. Plus, the lush rhododendron and bamboo forests and exciting suspension bridge distract you from the strenuous climb.
