I would really like to recommend Ashmita trek and tours to everyone looking for a serious, reliable and welcoming company for trekking around Darjeeling. Me and my friend did the Singalila Ridge Trek for six days and five nights and had a wonderful time. We were very satisfied with our Day Hike (one day trek). Subash took us up and around the Himalayan foothills at the border of India and Nepal. May isn't the time of year to see Everest, but it didn't matter because the foothills were gorgeous in and of themselves. We planned to rent a jeep and make a 6-day trip to Sikkim. So we searched touring companies in Darjeeling just walking around and stepping in - and Subash in Ashmita Tours was most helpful, most proffessional, most considering. Our small family group stayed in Darjeeling for sightseeing and visiting nearby locations significant to our past family history in the area.the proprietor Subash was amazing.
